While working in-house at Found Health, we noticed that content featuring our Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Rekha Kumar, consistently ranked as top performers. Seeing this success, I reached out to Dr. Kumar about managing her personal social media presence to direct more site traffic to Found. Within 6 months, I quadrupled her following on Instagram & achieved over 1k followers on TikTok (which started from ground zero). I generated multiple moments of microvirality (>10,000 views) and ultimately, increasing organic social site traffic for Found by 500%.
As Dr. Kumar’s social media manager, my role & responsibilities include:
- Ideating & scripting social concepts and scheduling time with her to record (either in-person or virtually)
- Producing & editing final videos into social-friendly posts, tapping into current trends where applicable
- Sending said posts live on Instagram & TikTok after Dr. Kumar’s final approval
- Building brand partnerships with relevant brands in the health & wellness space such as Juice Press

I noticed a trending conversation on TikTok started by plus size influencer, Remi Bader, around the negative impact weight loss medications can have when you stop them. I saw this as an opportunity for Dr. Kumar to showcase her expertise in the space by debunking the myths around this topic.
My role: I ideated the concept and collaborated with Dr. Kumar to create a response video debunking this myth. I then edited the video and posted on her behalf.
